Haha, I don't have a paying job if that is what you mean. But to technically be unemployed, you have to be looking for a job and I think being a Mommy is going to keep me too busy to find one.

I'm not unemployed, but I currently have a temp-like job that has little to do with my degree. It's easy, but it's not gaining me much experience. I need to either go back to college and get a master's ($$$), get lucky with a great, fitting job (not likely in this economy), settle for something less than desired (I do NOT like this option), or totally switch majors/careers and roll with that (I do not know what that would be).

Just curious Erniewan, what's your degree?
I reeeaaaalllly wish I would have started applying to grad schools sooner. I didn't know and now I'm frustrated! I hope I hope I hope I don't have to take a year off.

Mechanical engineering... most of the jobs I find require years of experience. :/ And I'm not so sure that's even what I want to do anymore.

freshmonkey be a goddamn butcher, it's fucking awesome. I worked at a butchery one summer as an assistant, but I'm from a small-town in NC so I've been butchering shit my whole life. I can kill, bleed, and butcher a whole pig in a couple hours (well, you need some friends to help). But yea, I'm unemployed while I finish my last semester. I have an internship but it doesn't pay.

Well I guess -correction-, I make about $60 a week writing web-content for a e-marketing firm, and occasionally will make a little money from a freelance journalist article in The Independent or a rare journal publication.
